One of the sound system company more prestigious of the world and of major growth in the last years. The modern factory created in 1998 allowed Microlab to begin an important process of expansion going so far as to export its almost 40 lines of product to more than 40 countries in the world. They invest in I*D as much as in Marketing, this orientation to develop every step of the products manufacture process allows to guarantee their quality.
Situation
The brand needed a fast incorporation to the market and to communicate all the technical specifications of the products, since this is the base of the comparative advantage it possesses against their competitors.
Solution
The advantages of a good web site compared to other mass media are already known. Some of them are: being able to show big quantity of information and images, to modify information easily, to have permanent availability, to have statistical information about the users and to be able to interact with them. This were Microlab`s needs and Cuoma work on this for two months. The site was made with the brand´s institutional colors but more sober than the microlab websites in other countries. As an institutional website it has information about the company and its history, information about Peter Larsen (acoustics guru on a global scale) and about obtained awards.
Results
The website turned out to be a fundamental tool of consultation and reference to distributors and points of purchase as much as for the personnel of the company. It still has not been communicated to the public because such an action will be a part of the campaign of launch of the brand in Argentina.
